It’s amazing how a little kindness can spark confidence, no matter how young or old you are! Whether you’re a parent, guardian, grandparent, or teacher, we have the special opportunity to guide children in developing kindness that will last a lifetime.

Here are a few golden crumbs of advice on how to encourage kindness in your child every day:

1) Be the best example for your children that you can be.
2) Let them see you use your manners, “please,” “thank you,” or hold a door open.
3) Talk about feelings by asking, “How do you think that person felt when you held the door
open?”
4) Watch movies, share family stories, or read books, such as “A Thank-You Celebration” or
“Glowing with Confidence.”
5) Most of all, have fun! Create a poster with stickers to celebrate every time your child
shows signs of kindness. Kindness matters, always, and everywhere!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post. Your support is always appreciated. I’m
excited to share my first and second books, “A Thank-You Celebration” and “Glowing with
Confidence.”
