To my family and all the incredible parents, grandparents, guardians, and teachers!
This blog post is lovingly dedicated to you. Teaching is one of the most important gifts we can give. Today, and always, I thank you and celebrate you through my first book, A Thank-You Celebration!
It is with great honor that I share a few sweet crumbs to pass along to your little ones!
Why Do We Use Manners?
- Manners are used to show respect to others.
- Good manners are little gifts that make people smile.
- They are a simple way to show kindness and caring.
- They have the power to lift someone’s spirit.
- Using manners fills our hearts and makes us feel good inside.
Teaching Respect and Kindness
- Look into someone’s eyes to show you’re listening.
- Say “Hello” to make someone’s day brighter.
- Use the magical words, “Please” and “Thank you.”
- Speak with care and show acts of kindness.
- Say “Excuse Me” before interrupting a conversation.
- Say “I’m Sorry” with a kind heart when a mistake is made.
- Be willing to help others and feel good about it.
- Treat people’s space and treasures with respect and care.
- Take turns and share with other children.
- Say “Goodbye,” and walk people to the door, showing respect.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post, Teaching Children Good Manners. With much love, I share my first children’s book, A Thank-You Celebration, with you and your little ones. Stay loving, kind, joyful, and courageous!
